Uniform

We feel it is important that our children feel part of our school and wear our uniform with pride, with high standards of personal presentation. Our school logo is to be worn on a child’s chest on their polo shirt or jumper/cardigan.

We have selected uniform colours in line with the colours which identify with our school.

Purchasing uniform

We have chosen an online supplier, Brigade, for ease of ordering items with our logo.

Other uniform items can easily be purchased in high street shops or supermarkets. Parents are free to select these to personal style choice, from store school uniform lines, in line with the defined colours.

All year

School sweatshirt with badge- round neck in teal

School polo shirt with badge- royal blue

The polo shirts (main school and PE) and sweatshirt are bespoke items and come from a supplier with the school badge on. We wish all children to wear our school badge with pride. The items are of high quality and are designed to last.

Bottoms- skirt, trousers, pinafore- dark grey or charcoal.

Bottoms, shoes, tights and sock can be purchased in many high street or online stores, including supermarkets. Parents can choose the style of skirt, pinafore or trousers they prefer for their child to wear, from any standard uniform provider range.

Leggings are not acceptable as bottoms.

Socks and tights- white, grey or black.

Hair

Hijabs and hair accessories (hair ties, hair bands and ribbons or bows) are to be plain white or black.

If you can purchase a match to the teal school sweatshirt, this is also acceptable. Hair ties can also be those which blend in with your child’s hair colour. Glitters and sparkles can be left for times at home or defined non uniform days please.

Footwear

Shoes are to be plain black and leather look or patent. Heels are to be flat.

Sensible, flat boots can be worn in the winter months.

Please ensure that your child can do up the shoes you buy for them by themselves.

Summer options

Summer dress- gingham and mid blue or dark blue or navy (it can be playsuit option if it looks like a dress when on). The guide is our royal blue polo shirt colour or darker. 

Long shorts (between thigh and knee length)- dark grey or charcoal

Summer shoes can be sandals and can be black, brown or white. These must still protect your child’s foot and socks must be worn.

PE/ sports uniform

Pink sports polo shirt with school logo

Black PE shorts

Black tracksuit bottoms for winter

Black canvas plimsolls/ pumps/ daps White or black trainers (as plain as possible) can be brought in for outside PE/ sport activities.

PE bag- royal blue from Brigade- we provide the first on entry to school as a gift. Subsequent replacements are required to be purchased by parents.

School Meals

Children in Years Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 currently receive government funded Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM). You will need to ensure you order your child’s meal online, in advance.

Educatering Solutions (formerly Crumbs) are providing school meals for our children. You can find out more about Educatering Solutions here. 

Detail on ordering is sent to parents directly by email. Parents are responsible for ordering their child’s preferred meal by the deadline. This includes free meals to avoid over ordering and food waste/ public money waste.

Please note that our school has a ‘no nuts’ requirement. This is to protect children and staff with allergies from risk of harm. This includes items nuts such a Nutella, hazelnut spread, noisette and food bars containing nuts.
