Our Academy

Green Park Village Primary Academy, a REAch2 school opened in September 2020, starting our journey with our first cohort of 60 Reception children. The academy is a stunning and spacious brand new building at the heart of the new Green Park Development.

Key information:

The school is part of REAch2 Academy Trust, the largest primary multi-academy trust (MAT) in England. REAch2’s 60 schools are grouped into ten Clusters and we are in Cluster 9, which currently covers Reading. Berkshire.

The school will grow year on year, each September taking in a new Reception cohort and moving gradually to full capacity from Nursery to Y6.

The school has designated space for a Nursery provision. This will be developed after opening to ensure that our core offer matches the needs of our families in our community.

The school works with an external provider for before and after school child-care- Go Beanies. Further information can be found here.

Our school day is: 8.45-15.15. Gates open at 8.40.

Viewing Our School

We are proud of our provision on every school day and therefore run tours for current and prospective parents each day with the Head Teacher, Gemma Jackson. This gives you an opportunity to have a personal tour, where you can ask any questions you wish to.

The visits are scheduled on request and this can be done via contacting [email protected]

Visits are at 9.15 and 14.00, which means you see live enjoyment of learning. The visits/ tours can be face to face or online (via Zoom).
