The school year is 195 days. We have chosen to follow the Reading LA Academic year calendar:

We are able to select 5 INSET days. These are days for staff training, which staff attend and when children are not in school.

Please note that all children are expected to attend school for the 190 days set. 

We are not able to authorise term time holidays, so please can all families book their holidays for during the designated holiday periods. We share dates with parents by email and on the website well ahead of time, to support the planning of holidays.

Three of the INSET days have been assigned to the Friday before the three half term holidays. The intention here is to support parents with travel arrangements ahead of the half term holiday.
